DiSC® Management Workshop: Empowering Managers

Everything DiSC® Management empowers managers to bring out the best in each person on their team. 

Everything DiSC® Management is a classroom training and personalized learning experience proven to increase the effectiveness of anyone in a management role. Participants deepen their understanding of themselves, their direct reports, and their own managers using the DiSC model, while learning how their management style influences their approach to decision-making, time management, and problem solving. Participants walk away with concrete strategies to help them adapt to the styles of their direct reports, enabling them to bring out the best in their people.

This program is customizable based on your organizations needs. Including up to 6 topics, content is delivered in 1-hour modules. Modules and goals for each include:

Individual DiSC® Management Styles

  • Learn about the DiSC® model and how it informs the role of manager.

  • Discover your management style on the Everything DiSC® Management Map.

  • Explore the priorities that drive your management style.

Individual DiSC® Management Styles, Part 2

  • Explore the influence your management style has on how you manage time, make decisions, and approach problems. 

  • Discover how your style helps shape your day as a manager. 

  • Learn a method for recognizing other people’s DiSC® styles.

Directing & Delegating 

  • Learn about your natural directing and delegating style. 

  • Identify the directing and delegating needs of different people. 

  • Write an action plan for improving how you direct and delegate to a person you manage. 

Motivation

  • Learn how you affect the motivation of others. 

  • Recognize what different people find motivating and demotivating.

  • Write an action plan for creating a more motivating environment for someone you manage. 

Developing Others

  • Learn about your natural style of developing others.

  • Identify the development preferences of different people. 

  • Write an action plan for developing a specific employee. 

Working with Your Manager

  • Consider how your manager might see you. 

  • Discover different approaches for getting buy-in from your manager. 

  • Write an action plan for improving how you work with your manager. 

About Everything DiSC®  Management

The Assessment: The research-validated online assessment asks participants to respond to behavioral statements on a five-point scale, including application-specific questions to help determine the participant’s Management priorities preferences and tendencies based on the DiSC model. Built using the latest adaptive testing methodology, each participant receives precise insights to personalize their experience.

The Profile: The Everything DiSC Management Profile offers participants insight into their strengths and challenges as managers, and how to adapt their style to meet the needs of the people they manage—making them more effective managers. In this 27-page profile, participants will:
